Choral Standard of Excellence
The LMEA Standard of Excellence Award was adopted January 2021 and will go into effect for the 2021-22 school year.
Purpose: This award recognizes the results of quality teaching and superior performances in Louisiana high school and middle school choral music programs.
Middle School Choral Ensembles can submit on EVEN numbered years. High School Choral Ensembles can submit on ODD numbered years.
Entry forms and recordings must be submitted between March 1 and June 1.
The three top ensembles chosen to receive the award will be recognized at the following LMEA Professional Development Conference and at a school concert or meeting of their choosing.
Instrumental Standard of Excellence
